Description
The Boston Fish Pier is the oldest continuously working fish pier in the United States of America. The historic Boston Fish Pier is in operation since 1914 and is now owned by Massport since 1972. The Port of Boston waterfront landmark provides berthing space for the regionnal fishermen and is home to the fish auction. To today fishing and fish processing remains its primary function and the facility houses companies dedicated to the processing and shipment of seafood. The photo image shows fishing boats docked at the Boston Fish Pier photographed minutes before sunrise.
