Description
The architecture photography image of the aesthetics and modern Community Rowing boathouse landmark on the banks of the Charles River in Brighton, Massachusetts just outside of Boston was taken in May 2014 on a beautiful night at twilight, only minutes after sunset. Twilight provides amazing opportunities for photographers and provides the artist with unique lighting that makes for exceptional skyline and cityscape photography pictures.
The Community Rowing boathouse was designed by Anmahian Winton Architects and opened its doors in 2009. In 2010, the modern architecture of the CRI boathouse was awarded the Harleston Parker Medal for the single most beautiful building or other structure built in the metropolitan Boston area. The architects of Anmahian Winton have achieved this with an innovative and sustainable design of the building and exploring abstract commonalities between rowing and architecture.
Good light and happy photo making!
My best,
Juergen
