Bass Harbor Head Light is one of the most scenic and picturesque New England lighthouses located on Mount Desert Island within Maine Acadia National Park on the southeast corner of MDI. The beautiful lighthouse towers over the swirling Atlantic Ocean and seacoast, marking the entrance to Bass Harbor and Blue Hill Bay. It is one of the most iconic scenery of Acadia NP as Bass Harbor Light is dramatically located on the edge of rugged Maine cliffs.
