Quabbin Reservoir landscape photography during autumn in October - it is the largest inland body of water in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is one of the primary water supply to the Boston area. It was one stop I had on my bucket list for years and finally planned in a stop on one of my annual fall foliage photo tours throughout New England. Autumn colors were not at peak at the time but good colors were. I made my way up the observation tower and boy that view did not disappoint! Equipped with a 70-200mm telezoom lens and a 1.4x teleconverter I was able to focus in on Mount Monadnock, Mount Pomeroy, Mount Zion, Little Quabbin and the Battle Dam; all shown in this landscape photography image from the reservoir.
