Duxbury Massachusetts and the south shore have great photo opportunities. The famous gumdrop tree at the banks of the Duxbury Bay is insanely picturesque. Its been on my photography bucket list for ages. I finally decided it was time to head down at sunrise and boy, was it awesome. Upon arrival at dawn, the sky was lit in beautiful light orange and yellow hues. The waters were so calm making for picture perfect reflections of this stunning scenery. I was in photography heaven.
For this shot I used my Canon Mark IV equipped with a 100-400mm lens. An aperture at f/16 with an ISO100 setting resulted in a 1 sec. exposure time. During post processing I adjusted highlights and shadows, brightness and contrast, color vibrancy and saturation before removing image imperfections and sharpening the final seascape photography image of artwork by award winning and Greater Boston Area based photographer Juergen Roth is now on display and for sale through Roth Galleries.
