I always love when I find a Floral Photography object that I can beautifully isolate against an attractive background. My last picture of this kind I found in the Boston Public Garden. It is not like the tulip fest in Amsterdam and Boston is more famous for its marathon, but I like living nearby because of its close distance to New England natural habitats and beautiful gardens. I captured this glorious yellow Tulip in the Boston Public garden this morning. Overnight showers provided the raindrops on the floral and added additional interest to this photograph.
right of the sidewalk as one can see in above picture. The contrasting yellow of the spring flower in front of the green lawn and other tulips really stood out and immediately drew me in. The tulip floral that I actually made the main subject showed some real character and was lit by diffused foggy morning sunlight.
