Description
Upon arrival at the Cape Ann seacoast photography location near Rockport, MA I explored various composition of the coastal area but settled on this final composition because of the attractive foreground and the expected stunning sunset light. The last light of the day tiptoed across the rocky seacoast and unleashed the entire texture, nuance and character of this Atlantic Ocean beaten coastline. A neutral density filter enabled longer exposure times while a split neutral density filter managed the high contrast between the dark foreground and bright sky.
