Description
Boston Fine Art Photography image of the historic USS Constitution battleship, also known as Old Ironsides, mooring in the Charlestown Navy Yard in historic Boston, Massachusetts. In the left of the photograph is the Bunker Hill monument, the site of the first major battle of the American Revolution. The Bunker Hill Monument on Breed's Hill is the end of the Boston Freedom Trail. Visiting this historic site and climbing to the top of the pinnacle is an experience itself but the vistas of Boston and surroundings are amazing and well worth the trip up the 294 steps.
Photograph taken at twilight on a beautiful summer night in June 2014.
Good light and happy photo making!
My best,
Juergen
